Yeah, this one is legitimately surprising.
Hidden somewhere in tiny Uruguay is a band called Fede Graña y los Prolijos. They make folk music that is remarkably similar to standard American bluegrass, which is definitely a good thing for me, as you already know.
However, it's not just true that Uruguayan bluegrass exists.
