Admittedly, I am not the best driver at night. To make matters worse, my car's headlights are foggy, which didn't help last night, as I'm driving home late from Algonquin! I didn't want to whine about it so I found this helpful DIY online using everyday toothpaste--the gritty gross kind.
Begin by cleaning the headlights as you normally would.
Apply toothpaste all over with a wet microfiber cloth.
Wait for it to dry to a haze.
This time, buff the dried toothpaste in a circular motion with a DRY microfiber cloth.
Clean off any residue and dry.
To maintain this look for a while, apply a coat of wax to the headlights the same way you applied the toothpaste, let it dry, then buff out. Follow this with cleaning them. According to another online user, this method was the best DIY out there!
