It's August. What does August mean for baseball?
It means we're all a little bit crazy, and anything can - and will - grab our attention.

The LA Angels have a Rally Monkey (and he looks angry). The Cardinals have a Rally Squirrel (and he's a squirrel, so that tells you all you need to know about that).
The Mets? The Mets have a Rally Parakeet.
The parakeet showed up at just the right time:
Gary and Keith called on the parakeet again
Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes put on a neon yellow sleeve to match the parakeet and would go on to smack his first home run as a Met.
Coincidence? I think not!
